Questions
- What is the trial?
- Every app in the catalog comes with six hours of free running time, no credit card. The hours are spent an hour at a time: an app stops after an hour, and you can start it again while hours remain. Up to three apps can be on free time at once. When an app's hours are gone it stops, and your data is kept seven days, so you can keep it running for $2 a month or let it go.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your app pauses and your data waits 30 days for you to come back or take it with you. After that the app and its data are removed.
- Who can see my data?
- Your apps run on a server we operate, so our staff could reach the disks it writes to, as with any hosting. We don't look, and we never use your data for anything.
- How big can an app be?
- 4 GB of memory per app and 10 GB per disk, enough for every app in the catalog. For a photo library that outgrows it, your own machine has no such limit.
- Can I run an app that isn't in the catalog?
- Not yet. Mesopod Cloud runs the apps in the catalog, and the catalog keeps growing.
- Can I move an app to my own machine later?
- Not in one click yet. You'd deploy it again on your machine and bring the data over; a guide for that is coming.
